The scripts in your Valkyrie Transport vehicle and tracks have been through a lot of testing and are quite robust. I hope and expect that you’ll have no trouble at all. Still, odd things can happen.
Pauses
The most usual thing is for your vehicle to pause at some point on its travels. If this happens occasionally and then the vehicle moves on, it’s probably due to high speed over a short segment of track. Your vehicle follows the track by finding out, as it enters each segment, where the next segment is. This takes a little time, and if your vehicle is going 30 over a segment of track less than three meters long, the answer may not come back in time.
Whenever the vehicle can’t find the next segment, it stops and keeps looking. So if the message is late coming back, the vehicle pauses and then goes ahead when it gets the word. If this is happening, either lengthen that segment, or use a speed sign to slow the vehicle over that segment.
Halts
When you first set up your track and start the vehicle, it may go part way around and then stop. That usually means that there is a gap in the track that is too far for the vehicle to jump. The gap will be right under the vehicle. Just drag the other track … not the one you are on … until it meets up exactly. Then the vehicle should continue.
Moving the track you are on won’t help: the vehicle has consumed that one and even if you bring it into connection, the vehicle won’t know it until next time around. If aligning the track doesn’t cause it to start, try a restart.
Restart
You can restart your vehicle by taking it back to inventory, rerezzing it, and going through the startup procedure. (Line the vehicle up with a straight segment, but not on top of it, and touch the vehicle. It should start in about three seconds.)
Support
If you are still having trouble and can’t solve it, please contact me by creating a notecard with all the information … include your name … and drop it on me. You can try an IM as well, but the notecard is guaranteed to come through. You can also message Dizzi or NightShade, as described in the Thank You page, but I’m the main support person for these items.
I want you to be satisfied and will make the product work for you, or refund your “money”.
